Learned about Curtis' company through work he did for a neighbor who was extremely satisfied with his work. They allowed us to see the work he'd done on their master bath and it looked great. We had our townhouse kitchen renovated by them. Curtis provided a very comprehensive estimate which detailed some items we hadn't considered such as daily clean-up, the payment schedule, and how receipts would be handled for materials purchases. His estimate came in at the middle of 4 estimates we received for tear-down of the original kitchen, new cabinet installation, tile floors and backsplash with some electrical and plumbing thrown in. He was able to accommodate an earlier start date when the cabinets we ordered were available earlier then expected by 2 weeks. He and his 2 assistants worked efficiently and more importantly they took care when doing the demo (and throughout the project) to protect the hallway floors and other areas of the house from dust, dirt and debris. They worked very efficiently and by the end of the 2nd day were starting on laying the tile floor. Cabinet installation went smoothly and he was kind enough to point out a couple items which we needed to report back to the cabinet makers regarding some bowing. Overall the project took approximately 9 business days from start to finish with a few small visits to finish up hardware, trim and reinstallation of the dishwasher once the counters and sink folks (separate company) finished their piece. His 2 assistants were equally pleasant and made us feel comfortable so we could ask questions as needed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., fees)?

This is a great question! Approach your project with a realistic budget, quality of the work and the thought process that goes into it from design to build and of course, the outcome. That being said, We have given some average cost of different projects below.

 

Labor: (complete remodel)

Master Bath: $10,000- $60,000+

Full Bath: $7,000- $15,000+

Half Bath: $2,000-$4,000+

Kitchen remodel: $10,000- $150,000+

 

Professional Fees: (Permit ready plans) Architectural Design fees: 7-15+% of projected budget.

 

New Construction: $200-$600+ sqft.

Additions: $200-$600+ sqft.

 

Handyman Labor: $125hr. per Technician
